MIC Successfully Hosts 2025 Summer Team-Building Event — Whitewater Rafting Sparks Team Spirit, Employee Awards Reflect Corporate Care

To strengthen corporate culture and enhance team cohesion, MIC Optoelectronic successfully organized its 2025 Summer Team-Building Event this July under the theme “Teamwork for Shared Success.” The event took place at Gulong Gorge in Qingyuan, Guangdong, a scenic location known for its thrilling whitewater rafting, offering employees an immersive experience that combined challenge, fun, and honor.

At the heart of the event was a whitewater rafting challenge along Gulong Gorge’s 6-kilometer stretch of rapids, with a vertical drop of nearly 100 meters. Fully equipped and ready to face nature’s force, the MIC team worked together in the turbulent waters, encouraging one another and demonstrating true team synergy.

Laughter and splashes echoed through the mountains, as every participant experienced firsthand that “unity is strength.” The event served not only as a physical activity, but as a powerful metaphor for collaboration, resilience, and trust.

Following the rafting session, an Employee Recognition Ceremony was held on-site. Mr.Lawrence, the General Manager of MIC, personally presented trophies and cash bonuses to several outstanding team members, acknowledging their exceptional contributions to the company’s growth.

In his speech, Lawrence emphasized:
